  1. I'm looking for a system where I can connect both my Mac and Windows machines via Type-C into then connect my Keyboard, Mice, Speakers, Printer etc. and have them share these peripherals, not necessarily simultaneously as one machine will be off while the other is working. I believe you get the idea. Now the question is.... Is it possible? and if no, how can I make this dream come true Now before you say "just get a KVM" there is an upside for using such devices like this. because I can get away with using just one cable to both charge, output to external monitor and connecting to my pe
  2. Fixed the constant controlled temperature error... my bad there.
  3. CPU is just an example we are thinking of a constant heat source here, could be anything.
  4. This is a bet thats going on between my friend and i and here is the question; Lets say there are two identical heat sources (CPU in this case) that produces 150w of heat constantly (Full load all the time), situated in different rooms with a controlled temperature of 24C until the start of the test. One of these CPU's runs at 65C and the other at 95C at the die-level. Which of the rooms would be hotter? Im in the camp of 65C CPU's room being hotter as definitely the cooling solution is more efficient and can dissipate the heat better to the room thus making the room hotter an
  5. Yesterday i installed a 1TB Harddisk drive in my computer using SATA 6.0, this is when anomlies started. Whereas i had no problem consodering usb controller resources before today i start getting errors whenever i try using my webcam. My motherboard is Asus TUF B450-Pro and the webcam is connected to one of the USB 2.0 ports in the back. What could be the cause of this issue?
  6. Already did that, im 100% sure it is coming from the PSU, just couldnt tell if it was an electrical component causing the noise or fan bearing noise, do you think im in trouble if it is the fan causing this?
  7. I built this PC a couple of weeks ago, i specifically didnt use HDDs so that the machine can be real quiet... But behold my diesel powered PSU. Im a student so i couldnt go big on the PSU, this unit is from "Frisby" and it is rated for 650W 80+ (came with the case). Please take a listen and tell me if i can solve this. https://streamable.com/q7qu66
  8. i have a 500W Cooler Master PSU and want to buy an 5500XT, my PSU only has a single 6PİN pcie power cable do you guys think maybe i could use like a conversion 6 pin to 6+2 and would that work fine?
  9. I was looking at the used gpu market for my new PC and i spotted this card, it is called the 'ASUS RX580 8 GB MİNİNG EDİTİON' yet it still has DVİ and DP outputs... Do you guys know anything about it? i want to use it for gaming, is it exactly the same with the normal cards?.
  10. Hello! I have a 2TB external HD that i want to use for backing up both my PC (Windows) and Laptop (MacOS) but here is the catch there is already a 450GB MacOS backup in the disk that i dont want to lose, instead i want to partion 1TB of empty space on my disk to use for my Windows Backup... and i need backup (your help) figuring this out
  11. Hello ltt forums, so im looking to buy a new GPU for my 2nd system and i was looking through the used market. It looks like i have 2 paths; either i get a Asus Strix RX 480 8GB or a Sapphire Nitro RX 580 4GB (this is 15$ more expensive). ive got 2 monitors both at 1080p and i only play games on one of them. what do you guys think i should do?
  12. Will give this a try, havent known about it since im new with vega.
  13. i've compared mine with yours and seems like only way we differ is 'GPU Load' where you have loads that are constatly 96-99%, mine is all over the place... any ideas as to why this could be? i have a 4690k running at 4.2ghz all cores so i dont think that would be the bottleneck but what?
  14. hey just cheking back, have you found anything?
