smeek14

Hey so I am thinking of getting Assassins Creed 3 and Borderlands 2.

I have an msi gtx 970 and a i5 4590.  How many fps would I get on ultra?

Do you have the games to test?  If so use fraps.  It is hard to say because different 970s will get different frames, and when paired with an i5 that also depends on the i5.  We can't just pin point to that model with that i5.  :S

IN Minecraft I get 100 fps.  Far cry 4 60-80, Far cry 3 80-100, Watch Dogs 30-90, Battle Field 3 120-150

Both games are from 2012, your setup is 2014-ish.

I assume you have a 60Hz panel, you should have no problem running those games...

You can mail me your PC and i can test how many FPS you get ;)

Depends on your monitor resolution, but at 1080p you're probably going to be blowing past a 60 FPS Vsync cap. Both games are a couple years older than your hardware and I'd expect them to run very well.
