ASUS Suite II

Not quite. I'll have to wait for tomorrow. I'll want to optimize for a 4.5 at a great voltage set. I really like off set mode but I don't want it spiraling off to different voltage settings without my command. Tuning down clock speed and voltage will be great. But I'll have to be careful. I'll might just change it to maybe a 4.4 or a 4.3 cause of my board since its an Lk p8

Ok bud..Just message me if you need help with OC settings tomorrow..

OK I have these current settings:

Ai OC Tuner: XMP

Blck 100

Multicore Enhancement On

Turbo Manual

Set all cores at 42

Internal PLL Overvoltage Auto

CPU Bus Speed DRAM Ratio On

Mem Frec at 1600MHz stock*

EPU off

CPU voltage: Manual at 1.368

Here's the problem. I want to edit the voltage but it seems I cannot.

VCCSA at Auto with .925v

PCH voltage at 1.050v

CPU PLL Voltage Auto

CPU Spread Spectrum: auto

Dont bother with vccsa, almost no gain from increasing that. PCH is fine, PLL is fine at 1.65-1.8v, disable spread spectrum. Id disable ehanced multicore too. disable PLL overvoltage. disable those C states or w/e power saving stuff that is too.

Thats a ton of vcore for 4.2GHz.. You need to use some load line calibration and lower your Vcore value, it'll make that vdroop go away too.. While you're in the power section, turn phase control to optimized or extreme. optimized creates a 'safety wall' sometimes.

XMP is overclocked.. kind of. weakest form of overclocking. almost as bad as those nvidia autoclocking cards. sigh.
