What would you pay for this computer?

Go to solution Solved by Sam Z Man,

Offer him 550$ and say you don't have the money for 700$, if he turns you down message him back 2 days later saying you got a little bit more cash, then ask if he's willing to negotiate, try to talk him down to 600-640$.

I'm looking at a PC for sale in my area and although I don't really need another computer, I like having an extra one around. However I have no experience with the 2500k and z68 motherboard in this comp, as in, will it play games well if I upgrade the GPU, or is the 2500k old enough it might bottleneck something like an r9 290 or 970? I also don't know what the current value would be of the cpu/mobo although I have a pretty good idea of everything else. Thanks.

Roughly 400~550

you're better off parting this out (CPU and MB as bundled)

$500 is the most I would pay for that. It is a nice computer but the gpu is dated and it does not have a legit copy of windows.

I personal always search craigslist for deals and know there will be a lot better deals if you are patient.

Parting out always reaps more benefits than bundling.

Intel Core i7-6700K | Corsair H105 | Asus Z170I PRO GAMING | G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB | 950 PRO 512GB M.2

Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB STRIX OC | BitFenix Prodigy (Black/Red) | XFX PRO Black Edition 850W
