Used to get 35/35 but now get 50/25 on Verizon Fios.

I've been on the same ISP for 7 years and they haven't offered me squat.

You have to phone them and say that you're a loyal customer and ask what they will give you.

I got a free upgrade from 50mb/s download to 80mb/s once!

yes, got it, now i have pay it because we didnt do something on time o.O

just make sure you read stuff about internet provider, cus you dont want to be paying for it.

 

Yeah this happened to me once, it really should be considered illegal to charge more because you didn't notify them... it should be the opposite. (as in they switch back to your usual connection if you don't phone to ask them to keep it).

I never got a speed upgrade but I did get quota increases.

 

I think when I signed with iiNet I had 20/20, the upgraded to 40/40, then 70/70 then 100/100 I think over a 2 year period with no cost increase.

 

Only a 5meg connection though :(

My ISP is giving me a FREE ugrade to 100mbit internet instead of 25mbit , Yaaaay.

 

Have you ever gotten a free internet speed upgrade , post it down bellow

 

I was supposed to have 4mbit/s / 512kbit/s, but in reality I have 100mbit/s / 100mbit/s. Don't pay a penny for it, been that way for more than a year. :)

My internet will go to 150/15 somewhere this august

 

I now have 120/10

120/10 is nothing to complain about at all.

I will be getting one later this year. Going from 100mb/s up and 100mb/s down, to gigabite both ways. I am currently loving the danish government.

Comcast did upgrades in my area a few months ago for their new plans or something and my speed was bumped from 50-105. I believe they have been doing this all over the States.

My ISP did do a thing like this, but just like 2-5MBPS more, which did not effect me since i have the max in my location with that ISP, 15Mbps

Thats pretty awesome! I'm still stuck on 200KB/s and I doubt its going to improve, but I too had an awesome experience not that long ago. I had my 50GB internet plan refreshed in the middle of the month because of some error on the server side :lol:

Just got from 20/2 Mbit to 40/4 Mbit when TDC installed a fiber box not many metres away from my townhouse
