Threat of music piracy one reason Rock Band 4 isn’t coming to PC for now

To be honest, I'm surprised that they're not talking about rocksmith, released on pc and was decent, though the problem is that people can just use the cracked versions of the dlcs to get more music and I suppose that would be the main problem with rockband, pirating the game and/or the DLC.

I doubt they are worried about piracy in the scene that people will rip the songs from the game and distribute them.

Really they are most likely worried about people modding the game on their own with songs and tracks and people not buying (as many) DLC songs.

 

I mean seriously, I can just go to youtube and type in a song title and find a good quality version 99% of the time.

From there you can find any number of ways to download or record the song from youtube.

I don't understand.. they are afraid people will create music with their guitar tracks?

or is it a fear of.. idk. but it is 100% of the time due to some fear of something.. sigh.

I honestly don't care because I don't play it but whatever.

 

They can do some weird encryption thing that Spotify does.

 

I was just about to say that. Though if there is a will, there is a way...

 

They could sure, but something they can do it's just fuck off.
