Why didn't the Windows 10 free upgrade show for me?

I'm using a legal copy of Windows 7, and it never came up. I had updates disabled because it closed my game one time. Now I guess even after installing every update it's too late?

 

Does anyone know what's wrong? Thanks.

Dont worry, you can upgrade to windows 10 for a whole YEAR, if it doesnt come up now, you can do it when it launches on the 29th

No clue how the promotion works. But I know several people on both 7 and 8, who haven't seen the Get Windows 10 promotion yet.

It takes time to roll out to everyone. You will get it eventually dont worry. Plus Win10 wont be out for a few months so you got time ;) Some of my devices got it 2-3 days after my initial one got it.

no it's not how it works, you have one year to upgrade, if you don't you have to pay, if you do it will be free foreverz.

No, its free to upgrade for 12 months, if you do not upgrade, you have to pay after 12 months

 

The upgrade to 10 is free forever as long as you upgrade inside the 12 month period

No, you should be able to do it after launch on the 29th, I imagine there will be way to do it through the microsoft site

Not sure, it might not be rolled out everywhere yet, some people I know havnt seen it yet
