Best Semi-Modular PSU for my build?

c_marriott

My current build is;

FX 6300 (OC to 4Ghz),

8GB RAM,

212 Evo,

500W Cooler Master Elite v2 PSU,

Zalman Z11 Plus,

Sapphire Radeon HD 7770,

Gigabyte 970a-ds3p.

I want to upgrade my GPU to a 280x/290 in the future but first need a new PSU.

I was looking at the CX600M but I don't know if it will be quiet enough for me, I don't mind a bit of noise but don't want it to sound like an airplane.

What are peoples recommendation?

EVGA Supernova 600w/650w. A little expensive, but very little noise, almost zero ripple (very important in OCs), and very high quality materials and internals all round. But i think it might be fully modular.

I have the 600M, after the first RMA this second fan has started making grinding noises. Don't get it, it uses a boggo standard sleeve bearing fan

The XFX TS (any XFX really), Seasonics as suggested above, EVGA B2/GS/G2 (moreso the GS at this budget and has an eco fan mode) are better buys

i5 4670k - Z87X-UD3H - EVGA GTX 670 Sig 2 - Samsung 840 Evo 250GB - 8GB Avexir Core White 1600Mhz - Corsair 750D w/ RGB LED Mod & Remote Control - 2x SP120 - 3x Enermax Cluster - 2TB Seagate SSHD - Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 - SuperFlower Leadex Gold 750W

Hands down the EVGA 750B2. It's higher quality then the CX600M, performs better, has better warranty support, and 150 more watts for upgrading and overclocking headroom. All this for the same price as the CX600M.
