Member title doesn't change?

Just as title says.

I was wandering on the forum and saw that 100-499 or something post The title should be advanced member. Yet I have 180+ posts and mine is still member.

Just asking and my curiousity, might this be a bug or something?

Or did I missunderstood something?

Yeah i think its a bug, just wait till you get to 500 and then you can change it to anything that you want!

I signed up in the Vbulletincrap days and I was able to change it easily.

What are the user titles and how do they work?

 

There are two user title systems that are assigned to users based on post count. Some member have the title Junior Member or Senior member - these carried over from vBulletin and will not update inline with the IPB user titles. The ones that update automatically are listed below.

 

Newbie: 0-5

Rookie: 6-24

Member: 25-99

Advanced Member: 100-499

Elite: 500-999

Master: 1,000-2,499

Beast: 2,500-4,999

Fanatic: 5,000-9,999

Hero: 10,000+

 

At 500 posts users can select a custom title. Please remember to keep them appropriate and that also post count farming to get to this stage is against the forums CoC.

These titles are not to be confused with the user groups which are displayed below a users avatar - these groups correspond to whether you're a member, moderator, administrator, etc.

 

What is reputation and how does it work?

Reputation is based on likes of content. 

 

Why am I not banned - -100

Bad - -20

Poor - -10

Neutral - 0

Good - 50

Well known - 100

Excellent - 200

Legend - 500
