Posted July 20, 2013 You need to update their Security Essentials heh, i just have her use it because she still thinks 24/7 anti virus still matters when I come in once a week and just run scans, defrag and clean it up then turn on the (security) for her false security :P If I had one wish, I would ask for a big enough ass for the whole world to kiss
 Posted July 21, 2013 Pretty sure my mom is using a pre built ASUS i7-2600 with 8GB RAM with a 22 inch 1080p monitor, beyond that I have no idea. They opted to have a pre built for the warranty ease. Otherwise I would have built one for them.

Posted August 4, 2013 I refused to help my mum buy a new pre-built PC since She'd get ripped off. Built this for the same price as a Pentium + 4gb ram + no dedicated gpu + no ssd. I had the GT 630 from a contest I won at Novatech- Good shop. i3 8gb Ram Asus GT630 128GB Crucial SSD 500GB Seagate HDD XFX rubbish powersupply. she also has a work laptop with an i7,4gb ram but no pics or info since it's a week old and I haven't seen it. Is that the Novatech Vulcan? Great case for its price! Novatech are awesome! I was at their most recent event, the Nvidia day down in Portsmouth. Nearly won myself a 760. I was 5 seconds away. Novatech Cougar. http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/cases/nov-cougar.html I wanted to go to the event but the previous day I had already gone from Fleet to Southampton and didn't fancy another drive down to the coast. Shame the reading store gets nothing like this. The carpark out the front would be great for a BBQ computer/tech fest for a day. It was a really good event. Yeah the Reading store would be great for a BBQ. I'm in Swindon atm so I'm pretty much in the middle of all of the stores. Bristol would be good for some events as well. Cardiff not quite as good though.

Posted August 5, 2013 I think that only about ten peoples moms here actually have a desktop... Anyways my mom uses this: *Not my Picture*http://blog.laptopmag.com/wpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/ProBook-4540s-front.jpg Specs: Intel Core i7-3612QM 6GB Ram HDD 320GB 15in 1366x768 AMD Radeon HD 7650M *Slightly off topic My dad "uses" a Dell Optiplex GX620 with a P4 @2.8Ghz. Though he almost never touches it because he has a company laptop with a i5 and at work he uses a Dell desktop with a i7 3770, so he never really cares to use his desktop at home. Does by any chance the desktop cost 1000$~? Posted August 5, 2013 my mums, which is kinda more mine and my sisters, as we bought it way back then, but we have our own now... skt 775 pentium dual core 2gb ram integrated nvidia gt 7050 windows vista :( :( :( whilst the gpu is rubbish, it shouldnt be that bad. however, its absolutely awful as vista is unbelievably slow and loves to crash when you attempt to do the simplest of things lol btw its 6 years old or something, and tbh, it wasnt too bad back in its day OnePlus 6T
