Lost YouTube channels.

what are some of the most frustrating losses on youtube? im mostly talking about channels that used to put out quality content, but now either produce total s**t or are completely sold out.

TekSyndicate: they used to make great videos about PC hardware and now they just do this dumb talk show..

Yeah what happened to Tek?

I subbed for a while until they stopped making product videos and just hour long talk shows or 2 minute random videos...

mine has to go to one of the best walkthrough guy for half life and doom

You know that Tek syndicate has more then one channel look to the right where it says Our Channels that's where they are posting all their new hardware videos at on their hardware channel.

Tiger Direct, back when Logan was around it had good content, now it's just crap.

That what the channel has always been about, go back to their 3+ year old videos and you will see the same pattern.

Little to no product videos, long talk shows and some random videos.

The thing is that Linus has a new video almost every single day.

3 years? A channel changes a ton in three years. Look at where linus was 3 years ago.

 

Comparing his new videos to 3 years ago? Seriously? If they did not change they would not have gotten this big. Look at more recent stuff, like a few months ago, or half a year ago, where they were actually reviewing products.

 

I'm not expecting them to review a product every day like nlinus does. They used to do about 1-2 sometimes 3 a week, and now its 0

 

I understand they are moving offices to the US, but they should make an effort to do something more than just talk. Its been a long time...

They have been in the US for a while, they created a new channel and only mentioned it in a single ep of the tek. Lucky for me it happened to be one of the few I have listened to.

More like "lost" as in they "lost" my subscription, along with many others...

they will always have a lot of subs though even if lots of people leave

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

why did they do that?

i actually dont know? they should have kept it at one channel, maybe done some other stuff on a second channel. maybe have a software review channel or something. there are lots of potential in those that no one has really tapped into.

Woodysgamertag, I loved mail mondays. He still does PKA which is my favorite internet podcast. 

same, but after wings and lefty left PKA i stopped. and my main theory is that woody stopped posting videos because of his minecraft server, it probably made him more money and he left youtube for that. i like wing's new podcast with whiteboy, a british guy and a black guy. puts a real point of view to everything compared to PKA where lefty and wings stood on one side and kyle and woody on the other on certain issues.

It would be like separating the wan show and series videos and product videos into separate channels...i dont see the point

i didnt even know there was a linux channel :P . but yea i feel the same way, still bearable though. i see where they are coming from with a division of talk, hardware, and linux.

I would really like lefty to start posting again, I liked his videos also. I like PKA as it is right now, although I tend to agree with Woody and Kyle and not with Wings and lefty so yeah... 

lefty also left too, it was very uncalled for. he probably pursued his dream of being a radio host but he didnt even post a "goodbye" video.
