Need a quiet PS for GTX 980 and I 7

macmus

- Seasonic Snow Silent 1050 watts

it's white and I have a black case :(

what about AX1200i .. is this one silent ?

AX is overkill and overpriced. Like I said above, there's no reason to go for the Seasonic Snow Silent when the Seasonic X-Series is the same, cheaper, and black.

If you're running a single 980, get the XFX XTR or EVGA GS.

One is a page for the series and the other is for the 1050w and 1250w models.

The pictures are of the same unit and the model numbers are the same.

The X 1250 is better but both are overkill.

Better built unit. CWT's highest end platform can't touch Seasonic's second-highest. Corsair Link is a gimmick honestly if anything. Who cares what voltages you're running at or how much power you're drawing from it, especially when it's a high quality PSU. You'll look at it once or twice then never use it again.

Okay, first of all, 1300w is COMPLETE OVERKILL. You don't need that much power unless you have like, quad 290s. EVGAs 850G2 or 750G2 is plenty and would actually be a great choice.
