The true reasoning behind Windows 10's name

Microsoft's been keeping a little secret from us. As it turns out, the way you may have thought the name Windows 10 came about may have been quite different. 

 

During Microsoft's //Build/ conference last week, you may have noticed Joe Belfiore's snazzy Windows T-Shirt. If you happened to look closely, you may have seen

 

that the window was composed of binary code. One smart developer managed to de-crypt what it read:

Each tile of the window contains a message, here's what it reads:

 

  • There are 10 types of people in the world
  • Windows 10, because 7 8 9.
  • Congrats on being one of the first.
  • Windows Insiders help us develop the future. Talk to us @ Windows

 

So, there you have it. The official reason behind the name Windows 10

3= triangle (HL3 is triangle) Illuminati = 10- HL3 = 69-67+2= HL2 (came out when windows xp was out which has 2 letters) so 2+07 when windows vista came out = 9 and they don't want another windows vista.
