That would be considered slow, in my opinion. I get similar speeds using DSL, and around here, the average is about 30-40Mbps over coax. The FCC in the US wouldn't even consider your speeds broadband anymore:

EDIT: Mistook MB/s for Mbps, commented quickly while briefly looking, sorry.

I have simmilar speed. I think it is enough as downloading any kind of game doesent take much time. Also it is enough for watching 4k on youtube.

internet feel ''snappy'' indeed and i don't get lag or stutters in games and it's 100% stable and reliable...downloading 50GB games can take a little while though but i do it overnight so it does not really bother me...i'm just curious about what others are getting...thanks for your input mate!

I'm pretty sure that says 4.0, not 40

EDIT: I retract my statement. It's showing 4.0MBps, not 4.0Mbps. I'd still like to see a speedtest, because I thought Steam capitalized everything..

What do you mean? You realize that 3.7 MB/s and 4 MB/s equal 30mbps and 32mbps respectively, right?

Well, my speed is 125 Mbps... or 15MB/s...

for the US it's fast, but there are people with Gigabit (120MB/s) or higher speeds.

This is megabytes per second, multiply by 8 for megabit per second, you got 32mbit/second internet.

ok now i understand thanks for posting that son!

Yes that's what they advertise i'm on a 30MBIT/S connection...they also say it's fiber...i guess it's ''trottled in some way or another'' fiber...

mbps vs MB/s know the difference.

Look at my edit, I know the difference. Just going off experience where not only does Steam report false bandwidth, but I've noticed it to always do MB/s, and never Mb/s, where my connection is 3.5Mbps, and that's the max I've pulled from Steam, and it was represented as 3.5MB/s.

Yeah all actual download speeds in your web browser are rated in MegaBytes per second (MB/s), whereas network speeds (the rate your ISP sells you) are rated in Megabits per second (Mbps).

Easy to confuse.

@MblaZe7run you're definitely confusing them. The Steam Client clearly shows MB/s, not Mbps.
