I have a watch with a battery life of a couple of years, would not like to get rid of that :P

Not a chance, I hate Apple.

I also don't see the point of a smart watch, really. I mean I get why people want them, but I'd rather have a real watch. Especially for the prices Apple is asking.
As soon as that Tag Heuer watch is out, maybe then I'll show some interest.

No. Get an Android phone with a <$200 smartwatch like the Zenwatch. Much more worth it and gives you the same functionality.
