Can't go above 1080p in games while in SLI (GTX 970 x2)

I can't seem to go above 1080p in any games while in SLI mode my PC run fine no problems there. In games such as CSGO I get 70fps at 1080p!!!, same in GTA V, arma 2, arma 3 and DayZ ST. Can anyone help me?

Msi gaming 7 z97

8gb hyperX 16000mhz

H100i water cooler

GTX 970 strix (x2)

Rm 650w

Intel 530 ssd (120gb)

3tb seagate hdd

Do you have DSR enabled in Nvidia Control panel?

If your monitor is 1080, you need DSR.. As you've noted, DSR doesn't currently work with SLI.
