What's Your Fav Motherboard Brand?

So I'm asking for a simple opinion. I'm not using it for a build. I'd just like to know what people's favorite motherboard brand is?

(Optional) What's your favorite motherboard in particular? (Doesn't have to be in your build.)

I'll start. I LOVE Asus. Love their BIOS, board colors and styles. I just am an ASUS fanboy. I love their cards to.

My favorite motherboard is the ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER because of it's coloring, and it supports SLI. and it's only $230 (AUD)

I am a big fan of the Gigabyte Ultra Durable series mobo's.  I have had several and they have never failed me.  Currently using the z97x UD5H, but I think I would like a Gaming 7 or BK version better (aesthetically).

From 2002 and below: Asus

From 2002 and current: Gigabyte.

I love the old Asus boards, but the recent boards have lost their character. Gigabyte has served me well over the years, so I prefer their boards.

MSI is my absolute favorite, and then Gigabyte and Asus.

I will be honest, I mostly favor MSI because I have never had a problem with their boards. I have for every other, but so far not MSI. So that's my top reason for picking them.

The Asus z97-P is AMAZING and not even compareable to the gigabytes for the same price. I have the feeling you're a bit biased.

MSI, my brother used Asus board and i got confused on the BIO

One of the main reasons I love Asus so much is because of their sexy BIOS. The BIOS can even overclock your CPU for you. How much better can you get?

That might be an amazing board(never used it), but I just don't like the aesthetics of Asus boards. They are either black and "gold" or black and red(and then there is the TUF series...), and I don't like any of the colors and schemes they use. With some of the lower end Gigabyte boards I love that they still use a traditional bios, which is what I'm used to since I grew up with the stuff(I love the blue screen with white text). Gigabyte has a more variety of color schemes and whatnot which I just like better, since I build a lot of my PC's for looks.

That's possible and preference. But saying that Asus is not doing so great above 2002 is a lie.. it's still one of the best motherboard brands out there, if not the best.

I didn't say that their 2002+ boards were not great, I was saying that I just don't like them. Their older boards have a lot of character, which will always be a memory of mine(and I have around 20 P3 boards to play with lol). Their current boards are great, Asus is really perfecting the design, I just don't like them as much as I used to.
