It's an FPS, it really shouldn't be a problem. A couple hundred megabytes absolute maximum?

Out of curiosity, which ISP are you with and what data cap do you have?

A cap that low is simply ridiculous. I've been on unlimited (admittedly slow) connections for the majority of my life. And as of a couple years ago, I went on an unlimited plan on my phone...

I used 300GB in one month on my mobile data alone...

How are you even going to download the game? Can't imagine that an ISP that has a cap of 2GB will have a decent latency either.

It's wireless and in my country internet is damn expensive (more speed and more data cap = exorbitant price) India sucks for high Internet use (I pay $10 (broke) for Internet and for $50 gets you just 8 gigs)

I do have unlimited 512kbps line at home (slow I know)

Download at home (broadband connection - damn slow - 512 kbps)

Always on the move so play on wireless

Is there no option to increase the cap or go for different ISP ?

U can't watch YouTube at all if u wanna stay under your limit...

Also, how did u get the game on your PC with that data cap ?

Well, it turns out that the 4GB tethering limit doesn't apply and any tethering traffic counts as normal traffic. This led me to seeing how much I could download before being throttled.

I wasn't throttled. I was just downloading everything I had on Steam, then the tools, then deleting then redownloading.

So u were using a PC not a mobile device to reach that amount :)

I use FoxFi to obscure the fact that most of the data is through Steam
