i like this, this is awesome!

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

My left brain side doesn't understand it, what is this for?  :)

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

Okay , I will put any changes on a strawpoll here on the thread so people can vote and the process can be more or less democratic.

Gonna tag WoodenMarker because he is awesome and likes this sub forum a lot.

Great initiative Zap! Really loving the idea but could I suggest you include the currency you are using in op. Other than that it is great!

Not to be negative or anything but people don't even read the faqs,  Everyone thinks there situation is unique or they want actual direct feedback as it is a form of reassurance.  Things like this just never seem to work.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

Well people will atleast have an idea and can make improvements to this as per required, atleast someone took the effort to do such a thing rather than dissing around.

Change that 4440 and the 4690k to a xeon 1220 v3 for that extra cache.

thats just 20-30$ close to 1230v3 that also have hyperthreading

and its 193$, pretty expensive

Nice work! @zappian ,was much needed, mods should post this as a sticky.

This will not be posted, the sentiment is nice however Luke has made it clear in the past that threads that dictate people what to and not to buy are not to be pinned.

Not dissing anyone or their work, just saying, we have very comprehensive FAQs in the audio, network, storage and water cooling sections. A lot of work has gone into those to ensure they are easy to read, factual and cover as many variables as possible,  yet people still post simple questions that are already answered in said faqs.

Just because some people dont use it doesnt mean it should not be there for whoever wants to use it.

Literally does no harm being there.
