Best Search Engine?

I did a bit of testing using a keyword in the search engines, Bing, Google, and Yahoo. I found out that Google is and always will be the best and surprisingly Yahoo search performed even better than Bing even though they have some sort of deal together. What do you think?

Sometimes i use Bing accidentaly, what a time waster. Unless you want to search for "youtube" or "google", its useless :D

 

Not to mention lack of search options.

I prefer Ixquick.  The last few days they seem to be having serious problems with their image search though, so I may have to use DDG for a while.

Google will probably always be the best search engine simply because that is the roots of Google.

I find Yahoo/Bing (Yahoo search is power by Bing) to be good for general search. I mostly use Yahoo to support Firefox, because Google cut its funding (Mozilla was getting 80% funded by Google). Google wants people to use Chrome very much so, as your personal data is collected even in private mode, and associate with you the moment you login to any Google service. Yahoo got considerable better within month since Firefox switch to it. The mass increase of user definitely made the engine way better.

For specific programming API search and specific stuff, Yahoo/Bing fails, I need to use Google. I think that the reason for this, is that most developers use Google, so it is not good at making the right connections based the keywords used and getting crap results.
