I am proud of my new system :)

My PC Specs: CPU: Core i5 4590 @ stock speeds, GPU: RX 480 8GB, RAM: 16GB DDR3 @1600mhz

I am excited to see how PhysX will be in this game but I did not upgrade for this game.  Unless I ran into major money I don't expect a hardware upgrade for the foreseeable future.  Also quite frankly I have hardly played the previous games so there is that to get to too. LOL!

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Yeah The PhysX is going to be interesting, Also Hairworks and flameworks i think ;)

I'm still trying to play the first two. the combat mechanics in the first game keep driving me away, even though I know the story is supposed to be quite good.

I agree I can't stand the first games combat but I am working on finishing assassin's of kings :)

Lots of other Nvidia optimized games don't use it though, e.g., Far Cry 4, Dying Light, AC Unity, etc.

They all use Gameworks (not sure of dying light)

I have it pre-ordered and hope to run it fairly high at 1440p, we'll see what happens.

I really doubt it, can't recall seeing any game specific videos, they're a tech channel after all.

However, they're probably going to use it for benchmarking upcoming GPU's, I'd be kinda surprised if they don't tbh.

 

I'm aiming for ultra on 1080p, so I think my i5 4460 and GTX 970 will suffice. I don't mind comprising in some areas either.

I'm not upgrading immediately for The Witcher 3, but I will probably upgrade my GPU to the next AMD or Nvidia card series once the results are in for both of them. I don't feel like there's enough of a jump in performance from my 670 to something like a 970.
