Random...Get Rekt NVIDIA in Gaming...

HarHarHarHar.I just wanted to share this. Please don't make a zee random excuse you NVIDIA fans that "OH IT'S A DUAL GPU CARD IT'S SLOW IT'S UGLY IT RUNS GOT".

Radeon Card looks more sexy imo

Im talking about gaming here.If you wanna talk Workstation go away.

NVIDIA...A $700 card is wreaking your $1000 card in terms of gaming. Please make something good that makes sense.Really like a 8GB vs 12GB.You might be like 12GB is better but not here.

Save your time and money if your going for a gaming card at this price range and get a 295X2.

[Random Stuff Decided not To Put In]

It makes no sense why does a card of 2014 destroys a mid-2015 card.Like really NVIDIA.

Tell me NVIDIA'ns what you got to say to this

...What's your point?

It has ALWAYS been a fact that AMD cards dominate some games, NVIDIA dominates others games..

..Those games happened to go to a Dual-GPU card (also because most of them scale well)

So yeah.. Yay!.. Win for AMD !

This is how I imagine all the AMD fanboys right now till the realize that this was a single Titan X and it was WAY more then likely running at stock speeds.

Go ahead talk about workstations.

Curious about what you will say.

Where to start?

A colleague of mine recently upgraded from the original Titan to the X.

He tested the render time of project scene. Previously it took 2 minutes to render out. With the X it takes 16 seconds.

Hilariously combining the new and the old to use to render different parts of the scene cut it down even further.

Its 8GB

There might be 8GB on the PCB but only a total of 4GB is usable for the 295x2.

each 290x has 4gb, which doesn't stack to 8. it's a marketing tactic, nvidia does it too with their dual gpu cards

My point still stands, a dual GPU card didn't do all that much better then a single GPU card. Yes the price is much better for the 295x2.

That's interesting.

Indeed.

It seems often overlooked how very perfect the Titan series has been for we 3D modelling types.

Please don't make a zee random excuse you NVIDIA fans that "OH IT'S A DUAL GPU CARD IT'S SLOW IT'S UGLY IT RUNS GOT".

It has nothing to do with being a "fan," the fact that it's a dual-GPU is a very relevant issue here. Not every game scales perfectly with Crossfire, some games even lack Crossfire support. Some games that eventually got decent Crossfire support often went without it for weeks or even months after launch.

I would say generally you're right, overall the R9 295X2 is a superior value for the money. But I really don't think someone who wants a Titan X is going to be so worried about that. The added convenience, reliability, power/noise/heat savings and added Nvidia features are enough for some to spend a bit more.
