Why don't we just wait for it to release before we buy anything?

And it should support nvidia proprietary technologies, so we could say it's a bit on the green side.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

? Heard of both sides.

The game is not out yet.

But I suspect AMD, since it will probably support Vulcan

I don't know anymore. I will say Nvidia because I dunno, but we will see.

If it is AMD optimized wouldn't it be a perfect time for AMD to launch their new 390x card or whatever it is?  It seems like the perfect opportunity to get people buying the new card.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Nope, someone jumped the gun a bit. Check the bottom.

Just Cause 2 was optimized for Nvidia but did it run like s*** for AMD Gpu's? No. That 1 frame per second of Vulcan won't matter. Nvidia = AMD in worth.

Wasn't Vulkan an API for both GPU makers? I thought it would be an API that both sides would support, and was meant for compatibility with Linux and Mac.

This is LTT. One cannot force "style over substance" values & agenda on people that actually aren't afraid to pop the lid off their electronic devices, which happens to be the most common denominator of this community. Rather than take shots at this community in every post, why not seek out like-minded individuals elsewhere?

It will most likely be optimized for nvidia since if I remember correctly I saw it in one of the ads when I was updating my gtx 970 driver. Either way if the developers dd their job well with the amount of time they spent on porting it to pc it should run pretty well for both.

I think, so far it's on green team side

http://wccftech.com/rockstar-gta-v-pc-delay-development-polish/

that's an old article with no source and even it is has only one sentence of speculation that Rockstar might work with Nvidia in the future. Since then thankfully there has been no evidence that this will be a Nvidia gameworks title. If it was it would have been promoted as such like we see before the release of Ubisoft games.

I expect a well made neutral game which doesn't stutter. There really isn't any reason it should struggle on Nvidia or AMD.

We will have to wait for benchmarks.

If it launches with Vulkan support, that will be awesome. any graphic cards with asynchronous shaders will shine, Like AMD GCN-based GPUs and Nvidia Maxwell GPUs.

*edit* just read the twitter thing about Vulkan not being used with GTA:5. too bad.

Most likely Nvidia would optimize it but most optimized games(Well my opinion) never work. Same to this website

AMD might try to optimize cause of the Vulkan but lets wait until the release to see who goes first(Personally hope for both Nvidia and Amd) ^_^
