I personally like their coffee. It’s good in my opinion. Starbucks let me down the last time I was there. The caramel Frappuccino tasted as though it had salt in it. It wasn’t sweet in the slightest.

I think someone mentioned earlier that they're really inconsistent from one branch to another, and that's been my experience too. My local Starbucks are alright, one slightly further away that's consistently rubbish then there are a few closer to the middle of town that are really good.

The one I go to (and only occasionally at that) is walking distance from my house, and it’s usually good. I sure was let down this time.

Never tried theirs. But I really like McDonald's McCafé coffee.

On a side note, I don't like donuts because after I eat just one, I feel like crap the rest of the day.

Sometimes I'd actually prefer McDonald's coffee or even 7-eleven coffee over Starbucks

Recently I'm preferring smaller coffee shops as the taste is awesome, milk is steamed well, and wifi is free in smaller coffee shops unlike in Starbucks where I have to pay $2 for 60 minutes of wifi use and since those coffee shops are focused on one or two branches only, taste is very consistent.

Their west coast expansion has been slow, I guess. East coast and further Massachusetts expansion is fine tho.

 

Source: I live in Massachusetts and it feels like at least 500 new stores open up every year.

Starbucks charge for Wi-Fi where you are? :o Here in the UK it's still free as far as I know.

They're expanding into Minnesota. And I do not like. Truth be told though, I've never had DD. But I'm not really interested in trying them anytime soon. There's a Tim Horton's in the MoA, I'd be more inclined to try them first.

I love 711 coffee. For some reason it tastes amazing to me. Mcdonalds coffee I find awful and same with Starbucks. I absolutely love their fraps though :x That remends me.... I have 2 free drinks on my card :P
