XSplit any good?

ShiroiTenshi
Go to solution Solved by Kiyuubi,

Alright others is better but still can someone answer about the license thingy?

Commercial usually means companies.  So if a company like EA wanted to stream a new game, then they would need to get the Premium Lincense.

Hello. Today I was watching a Linus video and I saw XSplit they advertised it or something (doesn't matter really). What I'm interested in is this software license... I don't know if anyone here actually uses it or w/e but as I saw that only "Premium License" allows commercial use "But what does commercial use actually stands for" is it like... I'm not allowed to publish my recordings without it? (i'm a big noob with these softwares) but I would need some sort of recording software anyways. And by the way maybe there is better software than this one (EXCEPT FRAPS) "I have no idea why, but I don't like fraps ^^).

This video shows how OBS and Dxtory can be used in conjunction with each other. And it's cheaper for OBS+Dxtory as it's just a one off payment for Dxtory, no subscription fee. (OBS is free)
