No those will work together, but you sure are spending a lot of money on parts that don't affect performance.

so im wanting to use AVEXIR core series DDR4 2666 with my GA-X99 Gaming G1 Wifi MOBO ... i have looked on both sites and both do not have each other listed but if i look at some of the compatible ram on the Gigabyte site the specs look the same ... any reason these wont work
