CS:GO ranking bug?

So, I recently began playing CS:GO. Last weekend, I hit 10 competitive wins and became Silver 1. Earlier tonight, I began playing and won another game, bringing my total count to 11. I also ranked up to Silver 2. I was thrown a little, but, I did a little bit of searching and found that this was normal.

Anyway, I played another game, and won it as well. This brought my total win count to 12. This ranked me to Silver 3.

 

The strange thing about this is that I played terrible. I usually rank 2nd-3rd on my team, but.... well, you can see the results in the picture below. I went 4 and 17.

Ranking is based around Round Wins/ Losses, and MVP's.

 

If you're team raped as hard as they did that game, no wonder.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

Well i took me 12 wins and 3 draws to rank up from nova 2 to 3...... I only lost 1 game....

Ranking up in silver is not that hard just need to win about 4-6 games in a row.

Now if you decide to not save after winning pistol you might win more than 3 in a row.

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

Guys, the ranking system does its best to put you with people who play similarly to you.

Just because you're silver and you are still silver after winning a few games, does not make you silver. If you top frag EVERY game you will be nova in no time.

Seriously stop complaining, every thread about cs go ranks, is full with silvers complaining that the system is broken, no its not, its just that you arent that bad.

Oh, it's not broken, people are just bad at the game. Simple as that. If you're not ranking up, then so be it. It's like DMG players trying to get to LE, except the only people whining in that category are those that say they're better than their rank. Hey look, it's a lot like Silver players. The system doesn't go just off player performance. It goes off MVP's, bomb plants, round wins, bomb defuses and match wins. These build up ELO points until you rank up. You probably were just close to Silver 3 within the ELO system. For those that say "I am better than my rank, just look at this. *insert picture of high kill low death ratio game*." Just shush. 

Sorry for being so blunt. But the amount of times that I have seen these kinds of comments from Silver ranked people is beyond me. Then again, I started as a Nova 2, so I didn't have to deal with Silver ranked baloney. 

Anyway, MM is bad. ESEA is love, ESEA is life.

Also, ranking depends who you play vs, if you lost to higher ranks next match you will get lower ranks, etc.

Also MM sucks hard, go play faceit. :)
