Do you think the TITAN X will outperform the GTX980 at all ?

Do you think the TITAN X (in SLI) can run modern AAA titles on 3x 4K monitors ??

Is the TITAN X a revolutionary GPU or evolutionary ??

sorry for bad english :D

1. Of course it will

2. Racing games sure, DA:I nearly maxed out? HIGHLY doubt it. Maybe with four of them but we'll have to wait and see.

3. Evolutionary, there's already been plenty of Titan's before it.

It's a Quadro with Geforce drivers, while it can game (quite well) it's still a Quadro which are made for work. Looking at it as some revolutionary gaming card is just incorrect. Though the concept itself is revolutionary when it was release (still kinda is), bridging the gap between professional work cards and mainstream gaming cards.

No, it's it own card. But looking at it as just a gaming card is wrong because your ignoring the whole reason it was created, to bridge the gap between professional cards and mainstream cards giving you the best of both worlds.

1) Absolutely.

2) WOW, LOL, sure probably. Pretty much anything AAA, no chance in hell.

3) Evolutionary.

perfrel.gif

Yes it will beat 980

It depends on the game, something easy to run like Dark Souls II maybe

It's very much an evolutionary change, its a reiteration of the bad practices nvidia started with the first titan

Gonna be epic for watercooling

Imagine 4 of these in SLI on a 480mm rad overclocked to 1500mhz (judging by how well Maxwell overclocks)
