Ebay has them anywhere from 60-160.

I have an old 760 sitting in my closet. Would I be able to take it to the store and have them turn it into a 960? How much would it cost if so?

Nah more like trying to change a D3200 for a D3300/T4i for a T5i. 

But yea you cannot do that for the most part, I think EVGA has a step-up program but I haven't looked into it much.
