What is a VGA Brand Name?

It's either Nvidia or Gigabyte, depending on the context. 

 

EDIT: Technically, Nvidia are the chip manufacturer and Gigabyte in your case, is the board manufacturer.

Your graphics card is a GTX 970, so it's either going to be NVIDIA or Gigabyte.

   HI I am Cody I was filling out a RMA sheet. I have done some research but it's still not clear.

Probably the full name if you are RMA'ing to Gigabyte and possibly just Gigabyte if you are RMA'ing to a store.
