dual channel Mem in x79 mob

Hey guys, first time poster with a quick question.

 

A friend has 2 identical ddr3 dual channel memory kits for sale and I was wondering If they would work on my quad channel Asus x79 board?

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

we cant be sure if it works but you can try

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
