plus what should i use to convince my parents? (im paying for it, but they still  gotta approve)

I use autodesk vegas, adobe suit, so ya know those 2-4+gb programs that take forever to load

It is a decent ssd, but I would get a 240gb ssd if you plan to put anything significant on it.

being you can pick up a 240/250/256 for less than $100 now, id go a size up

 

edit: dont forget if you walk into a Best Buy they WILL price match stuff from third party sites!

It's an okay SSD but lbr spend the extra $5 for one of these which I can personally confirm is very, very, fast.

Yeah it's a common misconception. The Ultra Plus is a good drive, but the base model SanDisk I wouldn't get, best to stay away from TLC SSDs for the time being.

He has the Ultra Plus, not the base model.

 

 

Still worth the 5 bucks even if speed is the same. The MLC SP900 will definitely be more reliable then the TLC SanDisk Base.

My SSDs include the Sandisk Ultra Plus and the OCZ Arc 100, both 120GB versions.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
