metro last light, assesto corsa, crysis 3, bioshock infinite, mirrors edge, battlefield 4, skyrim(modded at least), tomb raider. Just to name a few with good grafic lol

Crysis 3 is the best looking game you are going to find, shadow of mordor is nice too, tomb raider 2013, metro redux?. Far cry 3 wasn't that impressive to me so I think you will have many joys yet to come to your eyes..

What is your budget and location and the 970 is pretty solid, why change it?

I think it's more to do with games that are graphically demanding.
