Posted February 21, 2015 I am looking at these two headphones and I listen to almost everything but I want something good with dubstep. Also I'm confused on wether I should get the DT880 Pro or Premium. I am also looking to game with the headphones. 24 fps for that "cinematic" feel After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up. Not sure speaking I've never used the DT880s It's just the HD650s lacked emphasis, and everything felt far away (they are open headphones after all) // irenebb-pc v5 // [ღ] Intel i5-9400F [ღ] Radeon VII Lisa Su Edition [ღ] 24GB Crucial Ballistix [ღ] Acer ED323QUR (1440p/144hz) [ღ]
 Posted February 22, 2015 For dubstep and EDM, DT880 has a very good bass response, probably better compared to HD650. DT880 overall has boomier bass and extends better on the lower end Some my gripe with DT880 are: the thin mids, although it's worth nothing I'm comparing to HD600 which has a very musical mids. Doesn't feel very open, it's a semi-open headphone after all.

Good bass/kicks, and the low frequencies extends all the way down. Bad thing is it's kinda heavy and not very comfortable. Not unusable, just have to get used to it. lol "musical" I like headphones that have "explosiony" mids. For gaming. I like headphones that have "porny" mids. Accentuates all the yelling.... Posted February 24, 2015 I have dt770s and hd 650. The difference in how they sound is there. However, they both sound great, and you can only hear the difference having them side by side. Soundstage depends on brain processing electrical impulses that get to it, and they depend on acoustical waves that get to your eardrum. It's been said that open headphones have better soundstage as there isn't any resonance or interferences. But then again, speakers have the best soundstage, and they are everything about resonances and interferences unless you're in a acousticly isolated room, so go figure Your brain sees the world in contrasts. That's how you percieve light, and sound. It's the same listening to one for an hour or the other for an hour. Not completely the same, but as long as both headphones are clear, the only thing that matters is if you perfer sounds a bit more lower or higher, that's all. So get the comfier one, to me, 770s are a bit more comfy, and senns, when compared side by side, a bit more fun. But as I said, absolute numbers and frequencies mean nothing to your brain.
