If you still have one open in your area, everything is on closeout prices. I got Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste for $1.50 per 3.5g tube.

I picked up a ton of solder (18 rolls) in varying types for 43 bucks.

The projects never end in my line of work.

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

Cool. Get it because thermal paste (my jokes are just that bad). It's times like this I wish I lived close to Radio Shack right now. Could do with a bunch of components for an upcoming PC Build.

"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

I will have to stop by tommorrow and see what they have, I knew they'd have sales but didn't expect it so soon.

I too am going to stop by tomorrow. Maybe go get some arduino shields and kits to add to my collection, along with a new 12v bench PSU for my iCom HAM radio. I'll let you guys know if there are any good deals!

Hi. de KJ6ACR. I know the Radio Shack near me also sells pop filters, might be worth getting one on the cheap for my AT2020 mic.

The store around me isn't closing (surprising we live in the middle of nowhere) so no savings for me.

Maybe they just didn't get the memo yet.

All Radio Shack stores are closing, 50% of them will be converted to Sprint Wireless stores.

I can't find the list, but Radioshack has a PDF floating around of the stores that will be clearancing out their items, only one store in the state of Nebraska is doing it out of 20-ish.

Not every store is closing. Sprint is purchasing between 1500-2400 stores (out of about 4000), and about a 1/3 of what is left is staying open. The rest are the ones liquidating.

I meant, there will be no more Radio Shack. Sprint will be converting the ones they purchased into Sprint Wireless stores.
