Expensive and may degrade faster over time. But that's all just snake oil.

congrats for getting an SSD, you will enjoy it. ;)

Pretty much just the high price per GB when compared with HDDs at this stage.

Price and capacity compared to a traditional hard drive. That is it.

Was expecting that coming in. :), i mean its not terrible anymore,

Price is the only con, Oh, and your friends (that still have hard drives) will drool over your system as well.

Only one I can think of, from what I heard, is that when they die they die meaning they don’t give you any possible heads up like normal HDD sometimes can (Wierd noises etc.)

But that is nitpicking :D

The only downside I can think of is that you will spawn before your friends in a battlefield server and have to wait for the timer to finish...

When in doubt, re-format.

the MTBF (Mean time between failures) is a LOT higher on SSD's in general. my Samsung Pro drive has an MTBF of 1,750,000 hours (199.77 years)

It's worth noting that if your SSD dies, you can't recover any data off it. With HDD's you can send it out to somewhere like Kroll Ontrack to get data recovered from the platters. With SSD's there's not really any way to do that. It goes from being really expensive to effectively impossible.

I have to go to the Metro UI to see what color I have the background as, because my system boots faster than my Monitor turns on...

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

Only downside I have ever seen with an ssd (other than storage capacity/$) is that if you get hungry you can't eat them and they don't console your lonely aching heart late at night.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
