What cooler is right for me?

RayhanAli

Hey guys,

I want to upgrade my CPU cooler from a stock cooler to a better cooler I dont mind using a water cooler but I dont want to spend that much money just yet. The only problem im having is that LOTS  of cpu coolers wont fit as I have corsair dominator platinums.

What cooler do you guys think I should get?

Either an AIO like the kraken X61 or the NH-D15 (recessed fins for high-profile ram compatibility)

Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

Go for a closed loop watercooling, those almost never have clearance issues with RAM heatsinks.

Well some AIO coolers will negate the effect of your platinums...

Definitely go for an AIO liquid cooler, it will look much nicer than a large clunky air cooler, and it will also let you show off your dominator platinums.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

4 sticks? Or even 8? If its 8, you will need AIO. With 4 sticks, you can go for like U14S and move fan to other side.
