I want one so bad. but my pc is using 8.3 gigs and Im just web browsing. so I dunno how I feel about 1 gig. I mean if it works out fine, it does, but I dont know how long this will be useful for.

then again its dirt cheap windows device. is it full windows?

It's a nifty tablet, I use it mainly for streaming videos while I'm in bed and I don't want to play it on my TV's obnoxiously loud speakers.

Only complain is that you hear static from the 3.5mm audio jack, no matter what it is you plug in. This is an unfortunate design flaw. It's almost fine if you constantly have music playing, but it's obnoxious if you don't.

Bluetooth headsets or anything are fine.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

It also looks like it comes with a $25 Microsoft gift card. This looks like a pretty awesome deal.

wow, 8.3 gigs while web browsing!?! You either have a gazillion tabs open or some sorta virus or maybe 100 instances of steam, or maybe it's just a rambug eating all your ram up. O_O

xD but srsly, when you're buting some sort of electronis device for less than $100, don't expect the best specs ever, and besides 1gb of ram should be fine for a tablet, but if you want to max ort crysis at 4K, then this is not the right choice :P

most if its because of my rapid mode. just started downloading a game on steam, went from 3.5 gigs used back to 5.8.

yeah, but the thing is chrome munches away over a gig by itself. Im curious how well this thing can even web browse. is it full windows? I mean yeah, theres windows 8 devices with 1 gig of ram, but running and working well are 2 very diffrent things

Very interesting. Thanks for the feedback on this.

Enjoy those tacos now, for in 1000 years they will be illegal... eh Ha Ha Ha! I think we all know why.

is it anything like the HP phones of old?

I LOVED my HP Palm Pre and Palm Pre 2 and refused to upgrade till recently. Had a HP phone for 5 years.

I've never used a HP phone before so I wouldn't know. But it's just like a touchscreen laptop without the keyboard and track pad. I only really use it when I am reading a visual novel or something. A damn good visual novel device :D

Pomf =3

How does this run? 1GB of ram on a full 8.1 windows seems concerning.

Snip

Just want to point out that this tablet has Audio issues especially when using headphones it produces audible hissing noise, gets louder when your doing tasks such as typing, how do I know? Because I have this tablet.

That's definitely a good deal on a good, cheap Windows tablet.
