I got a 0.17megabit download speed last time I tested it (yes, its in the thread.) 0.00283megabytes/s  and my plan a 60 dollar one

 

1 provider in my area...I live 8 miles from any town, and 35 miles from the closest big box store wal-mart/target ect.

 

also went into radio shack to see if i could get some thermal paste...and they had ceramique and silicone based only! and they tried to sell me a 8 dollar keyboard for 42 dollars.  + they don't have any computer components around me same with best buy and the closest one of them is 50 miles away

 

 

Why is there no decent tech around here at all? i've only ever seen 1 gpu in real life being sold (a month ago in fact, they ordered it on accident) and its a r7 240 which they want 120$ for ddr3 bro's....

True, it would be nice if i forgot something simple to be able to pick it up though like a decent thermal paste, heatshrink, or an extra fan.

I live in the country in Canada, the closest Walmart is roughly 30 miles away, the closest Bestbuy is nearly 75, and when I needed a power supply badly, they sold me a 520w Dynex (not even 80 plus) not modular, not painted, although it had damn good sleeving, was not enough to make up for the shitty price. I found it for $30 online a few weeks later.

 

I have only seen actual computer hardware, for an actual price, at Memory Express in Vancouver, which is a 5 hour drive in the Summer, and 6-8 in the winter. A 3 foot headphone extension cable is $25 at the local Radioshack

I went to a computer shop, asked them their cheapest gaming PC. $1000. It has an AMD quad core, AMD or Nvidia GPU, 8gb ram, Asus mobo, 120gb SSD, 1tb HDD. Complete. Fucking. Joke. I asked him then and there, why does labor cost $400+?

@Lolzious people legitly have optiplex 740's on craigslist here for 250$ (i found one in the garbage a while back.) Also, one store tries to sell pc's here...its bad 3rd gen i7's and a 560 for 1200 bucks.

You can't really expect people to invest loads of money in stock and infrastructure when there is no demand for it. Your only option is to move plus its a good option, i have no idea why anyone would want to live in the middle of no where full time
