BEST quality headphones EVER?

R3DOPS
Go to solution Solved by ShearMe,

No one agrees on what is the best headphone because everyone's use-case is slightly different, and sound preferences are highly subjective. Sennheiser, AKG, Beyerdynamic, audio-technica, and Sony are the big players with good products at every price point, and there's plenty of other great cans from companies with a smaller line-up.

Instead, tell us what you're looking for. We can usually pick something that suits a person's needs quite well. A budget would be helpful as well, because there's headphones that can cost many thousands of dollars.

WOW the price though

Google "Sennheiser Orpheus"

So I was wondering what you guys think is the BEST headphones you can find on the market. Best as in Quality of sound looks build quality and so on. Why do you think this is the best headphones possible? And do you think that you will need a amp or a Audio Card to drive that headphones to there best possible performance standers?

Thanks!

For Canadian pricing, you're looking at HD 558 or ATH-AD700X.

Some of the Audeze headphones seems to be the best for recreational listening.

Wish I could try a pair in my life time.
