This is my current AM4 setup and my question is should I try another CPU on this one or move over to AM5 ?

Had ev plans to upgrade CPU to  7 5800X 3.8 GHz 8-Core Processor before I move over to AM5...the 7 5800X3D is around 1,5x in price here in Sweden.

What is your budget and use case?
I would not put a 5800X in that motherboard even if it supports it due to the lack of VRM cooling.

Thanks then I will use it a little but more and await the AM5 MBUs to be priced a bit better or buy used.

By MBU's you mean Motherboards?  I don't think AM5 motherboards are going to drop much in price as all current boards can still be used with the upcoming Ryzen 9000 CPU's.

We have seen pretty decent prices on some good AM5 motherboards like the MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI  -  Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX V2.

If you don't mind buying MicroATX boards then there are even cheaper boards for a good price in the 130-160 usd range.

Thanks I added the two to favourites in my Partpickers builds and will check if any of these pops up as used or sold as new in the original box. If I buy used I always want the original box so I can sell it again later...
