Eh... I was born a French Canadian, but I'd rather speak in English, it's easier.

Nous parlon francais ici,

cetait la Place pour les Francais pour parlais en francais.

 

J'ai suis demi francais et alors ma francaises et pas bonne a mon avis.

 

Les Regles:

Pas de le accents parce que j'ai deteste ca.

My French experience:

 

There I was in France aged 8 ish and I was on one of those Go Ape type things that they have in France and I was just going about my business like you do, zip wiring and shit but there was this lone French kid behind me. He obviously had something to talk about because he just kept saying shit in French and being the polite English kid I was, I just kept replying "oui". On goes the conversation, he goes deeper and deeper. When my parents took me to French class (we didn't learn languages in school back then), I really didn't anticipate needing it this abruptly or at this level. I doubt my screamy rendition of Alouette would go very far in this conversation, in which I was now so involved.

The end's a bit of an anti-climax really, it ended with my mother shouting up "Say 'Je suis Anglais'" and I did, which shut him up. Meanwhile, our mothers were chattering at the bottom of a tree - in English.

 

So nearly 15 years on, I remember just to say Je suis Anglais and that'll get me out of having to speak French.

Whilst writing this post, I had to find the spelling of Alouette again and looking at the wikipedia page, it's such a vile song guys.

"I will pluck your beak" (Sorry French people, but I'm pretty sure no feathers reside on the beak)

"I will pluck your eyes" (Yeah, let's stop this monstrosity)
