I need help looking for a portable laptop

Demolishdude

I am currently looking for a laptop to do school work and minor gaming on. Currently, I have me heart set on the Asus T100. However, I am also currently eyeing the Acer Switch 10 and the MSI S100-017US.

For the games I will be playing, I will be spending my time mostly on Civilization V and company of heroes. I am looking for something with performance combined with mobility under $350. Any suggestions for a laptop or one of the ones I have?

They are both like exactly the same thing, why would you make that kind of transition?

I do know that Civ V will be VERY slow with anything under $500.

Unless you play a small map with 2 AI and 5 City States in 2D mode.

The Asus and the Acer are somewhat similar, but the MSI is completely different.

The laptops run at 720p and I wouldnt be using these as gaming machines. I would be playing these games only after I finish school work and projects.

It's not the graphics that are the issue, Civ V is a very CPU intensive game.

A quad-core laptop still lags on Civ V with a standard map.

If you're into any kind of gaming, you should get something that can at least handle it on a CPU level.

Also, oxymoron.
