If it were up to me I'd never let this game see the light of day. Firstly because the game can never possibly live up to any expectation people have about it at this point, but also as revenge to the 40 billion people that thought it was funny to make yet another Half-Life 3 confirmed joke, or to anyone who ever said "The cake is a lie".

Half Life 3 isnt going to happen.

 

Valve is too busy trying to add more things to Steam's client.

Yeah, cause they only have one team at Valve.

More like HL3 will never happen cause valve are to busy creating hats for TF2 coz micro transactions.

Well i realised that its old news but this only had like 1000 repost and its half life 3 so i figured if I hadent heard about it now then people still think its unconfirmed...

 

Also its supposed to be on source engine 2 so thats why its taking so long

Gabe himself said they were working on source engine 2 but that they need games to launch it with

 

even if it dosent live up to the expectations, half life 3 on source engine 2 will be more than enough for many fans eagerly waiting!

 

on a sidenote, you have to remember that its not unusual for valve to take years to finish something...

 

tf2 took like 6 years or something stupid
