Looking for a new laptop, 1000 euros

Since my macbook appears to be about to die, im looking for a new laptop.

im in the netherlands

i will use it for school, and want it to last as long as possible

 

i would like at least an i5, bare minimum 4 gb ram, screen size between 12-14 inches,

have you had a look around for anything that interests you? there is a boat load of laptops in that price range

the dell xps 13 has my attention, but theres no i5 version of it out right now here.

What about the Surface Pro? or Lenovo Yoga?

Try it, the surface IS 12 inches at least :P it's really light too

il propably do that, my macbook lives for now.

 

its been 57 months since i got it. and its been used intensively for those years. man macbooks die slowly. only physical thing thats kind of breaking is a bunch of tears in the plastic.

the Lenovo Yoga,

im not so sure what to think about it, it looks nice, but i fear the hinge will break after 2 years.
