I was about to do something I never do today. I was going to buy a game on Origin. I wanted the Mass Effect Trilogy. Seeing that there was a sale, I pondered if I should buy it. On the one hand fuck EA, on the other hand it is pretty much the only way to play those games.(because of fucking EA)

 

So I said to hell with it and decided to buy and lo the sale was gone! Less than 10 minutes had passed from me seeing the sale and it disappearing. Perhaps this was a sign. Perhaps I was saved at the last moment from committing a terrible sin.

 

I'll buy Grim Fandango Remastered on GoG instead.

Except for them using Euros instead of my currency or Dollars therefore making it extra expensive in my country? Even Steam when it didn't have local currencies in place only used USD.

I personally love origin.  It's not Steam, but it's DAMN GOOD in comparison to UPlay.

The same with your friendlist.

I have no love for Origin... But at least it's better than uPlay... even though that's like saying "This turd sandwich is slightly better than that other thing".

I like having all my games in one place to look at em. If EA put their games on steam I would have bought them. Sims 4, DAI, and Mass Effect. I don't even play BF4 that much because it's not on steam.

Wasn't this the series where everyone ever complained about the absolutely shit ending? I am aware of the series through reviews and other types of videos. I don't think I would have loved it.
