Really hope I can find a solution because I just bought this game.

I get about 2000 fps in the menu's but as soon as I start playing it just goes right down and sits on 14. I can tell it's at 14 fps, the game play is terrible. And thats an lowest possible settings, no AA or PhysX and 1280x720 windowed.

Highest settings have the same fps in game.

My other Steam games run fine.

 

GA-P67A, i7 2600, HIS 7970, 16GB 2133Mhz RAM, Samsung 840 Pro RAID 0.

 

Please help guise.

You could try running it in full screen. And when you get the low fps, alt-tab out and back in. Sometimes that can fix weird FPS issues.

Is it maybe some kind of settings problem like saying it cant go past X amount? I think my sisters BF had this same problem i will ask him when he comes over in a few hours.

Turn on fullscreen and its probably a driver, same thing happened to me with Battlefield 3 until I got a better driver and it worked wonders

Give it a driver refresh and close other programs that may run alongside it. Also, go into control power and uninstall unnecessary applications. Also, close Steam as it may be wanting to update. That is a problem for some of us as it tends to use way too much power for what it is doing.

Sweet the engine is calling for a constant 60fps. Strange though because I could have sworn that I had these settings on originally. Thanks guys!
