My close friend plays it, and we play together when we can (It's been hard ever since I moved away, cause he's an Xbox gamer and I'm a PC gamer)

I do actually love the series, but one thing is missing....

 

And now, the thread:

They add a gun, that starts with low damage (Ex 10), but increases with the range of the shot, 1 HP per meter (Starting at 10).

 

 

Anyway, just wanted to share this, and who knows, some other game will add this in a meaningful way. (TF2 has this, but the crossbow is not amazing by any means)

Yes considering the way it's done is so completely inaccurate to real life that it's not even funny.

Not to mention highly trained operatives only being able to sprint 10-20 feet.

SMG's being more accurate at long range and deadlier than sniper rifles.

I've read a lot of reasons that someone will swear off a particular game or franchise but this one by far is the most trivial. If you want to avoid the games for that reason then by all means go right ahead but that reason is stupid as all holy hell.

But this is the opposite of COD? sure its not supoosed to be an actual sim like arma or operation flashpoint but tried to balance arcade fast pace with realism. If you want a game like that then play a futuristic shooter

That's what I never get in any shooter really.

 

They train for many, many months, mentally, physically, and on their skills with their firearms.

They should be able to outrun a fat plumber...

Oh no, I'm not avoiding the franchise, I'm still playing the games I got, but at this point, there is nothing really new in terms of guns.

Boosting is cool, but Titanfall did that better.

After starting to play ESEA, I have finally found the good half of the community. Actually enjoying playing pugs again and wanting to play more than I did. Plus it's mainly LE's and higher in ESEA. 

Plus, the community is some streams ins't all too bad.

I stopped playing Cod after Cod4:MW

 

the d*** move they pulled with MW2, by pulling dedicated servers and community maps/mods killed it for a lot of PC Cod players. mostly a console game these days.

talking about the competitive scene killing itself.  betting has ruined the respect people used to have for the game, and it has corrupted players into throwing games just for skins.

 

CEVO, ESEA, and Faceit are all really great places to be, unlike the ebola infested ass monster that is matchmaking.

In battlefield sprint is unlimited. Which considering how long the average lifespan in a FPS is, is about right.

Bad company 2 was the last good battlefield game, if you get the chance, the multiplayer is still going on steam. Hard to find a match where you don't get pwned though.
