Do you use speakers or headphones for daily computing? Poll

eBiz

I was just curious about this but for everyday computing (web surfing, working etc.) do you use speakers or headphones?

Also I was curious for gaming what the ratio is for using speakers or headphones?

I'm listening to music 95% of the time on my computer, so it's only practical for me to use headphones all the time.

I only listen to speakers if they are a proper set of speakers or if I don't have any other choice.

Otherwise I'll plug in my head/earphones.

When gaming online with friends (or late at night) I use my headset (beyerdynamics mmx300)

Try softer and more comfortable headphones that don't quite clamp on to your head as much for a better experience.

I mostly use speakers but when it's 9 PM or later I use headphones, and for gaming I use headphones as well.

I use headphones all the time, used to use speakers but the extra clutter on my desk started to annoy me.

The only thing I use speakers for, is when I'm playing on the Wii U, but that's only because the speakers are built into my TV

I would use my speakers for everything but gaming and TS till I got my xonar xense and accompanying PC350s. Now I won't use anything else.

Headphones 90% of the time as I too tend to listen to music whenever I'm sitting in front of the computer.  The only real exception is if I have something I want to share with other people (youtube, music, netflix, etc.) or when I'm playing one of my racing sims.  Usually, when I'm racing, I enjoy the added fx provided by the 2.1 (especially the sub woofer), and it's nice not to worry about the headphone cable while I'm thrashing around with a wheel in front of me.

I cant enjoy competitive fps using speakers.

Then you don't have them setup correctly. If you form an esophageal triangle between the speakers and your head, it's better than any headphone.

form an esophageal triangle

Don't use expensive words to troll. Maybe they will believe you.

I like the freedom of speakers and the 'feelable' sound.
