How do you button your shirts?

Title, i got a friend that buttons his from bottom to top and i do mine 2nd to top and then down....Which way do you guys do it?

Bottom to top. I leave anywhere to 0-2 buttons undone. I wear flannels almost every day so.

I mix and match so the buttons never line up properly. That way, nobody questions my parking in all the handicapped spaces.

I leave 2 unbuttoned at the top if it's a flannel, one if it's a dress shirt. I unbutton them all and wear an untucked white tee underneath if it's casual enough and it's not Christmas or Thanksgiving (plumped up too much).
